Kristopher Stephens

I am a Mentor Peer Advisor Leader for the Office of New Student Connections. I am currently a Sophomore majoring in Management Information Systems in the College of Business. Since entering into the university in Fall of 2008, I have been involved in many community service projects with the office of civic engagement and volunteerism and a Orientation Team Leader in 2009. I love listening to music, going out with friends, and cooking in my spare time. As a commuter student, I was worried about finding my place on campus and getting involved. But when I found a good group of friends and attended more events, I got the same experience as students who lived on campus. My advice is to stay on campus as much as possible and get involved. Break out of your confort zone and attend as many events as possible.
Eunique Noel

enoel@sa.usf.edu

Eunique Noel is in her second year at the University of South Florida. I am pursuing a degree in Psychology. Since entering the university in Fall of 2008 I have been involved in the Vietnamese Student Association and I also worked as an Orientation Team Leader in 2009. In my spare time I love to listen to music on my Zune, relax with friends, and write. I recently took up crocheting but it is still a work in progress. When I started out at the University I had many fears especially since I was a commuter student. I was worried i wouldn't get involved and I would have a hard time making friends. The best advice I can give any incoming student is to challenge themselves to come out of their comfort zone and make a conscious effort to be come more connected to the University, in the end it will definitely pay off and make their experience here at the University a better one.
